Mattie Jo Dover Jaudon, 87, of Batesville, MS, passed away Monday December 12, 2022 at her home. 

Funeral services for Mattie will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 17, 2020 at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Shiloh Cemetery.

Mattie was born January 28, 1935 to the late Dalton and Georgie Dover. She was a homemaker but also worked as a nurse's aide and a radio dispatcher for Aaron’s Taxi. She was a member of North Batesville Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, Mattie was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Jennings Jaudon, three brothers, Ruel Dover, Noel Dover, and Eugene Dover, one sister, Lillie Mae Black, two nieces, Deloris Black and Dorothy Jaudon, and one nephew, David Lee Black. 

Mattie is survived by her children, Michael Jaudon and Kathy Jaudon, three nieces, Doris McMinn, Geri Brown, and Wanda Melton, one nephew, Malcolm Dover, and a host of great nieces and nephews.
