Harold Vaughan

James Harold Vaughan, age 80, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. Mr. Vaughan was the widower of the late Linda Ann McGee Vaughn and Gail Kemp Vaughan.

Harold was born May 8, 1939 in Panola County, MS to the late William Ernest and Hazel Darby Vaughan. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Harold loved going to church and being in the field, as he was a farmer in Panola County his entire adult life. He also the owner of Dixie Gin here in Batesville, MS.

Harold will be most remembered by his daughter, Joy Vaughan Ragon of Batesville, MS; two sons, Ernie Vaughan and Monty Vaughan both of Batesville, MS; sister, Lorene Jones of Batesville, MS; six grandchildren and three great-grandchldren.

Along with his wives and parents, Harold was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristian Rachel Vaughan.
