William L. "Billy" Magee, Sr.

William L. "Billy" Magee, Sr. age 84 , formerly of Batesville, passed away on May 20, 2021 at the Kerrville VA Medical Facility in Kerrville, TX. Billy was the husband of Patricia Magee of Uvalde, TX.

The family will hold a graveside service for Billy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville. Rev. Kerry Powell will officiate

Billy was born August 10, 1936 to the late Minnie Ola Goodwin Magee and John Hubert Magee in Batesville. He served in the United States Navy onboard the USS Quillback submarine from 1954-1958. He was a life-long farmer and worked with the United States Department of Agriculture inspecting farm land in Australia.

Billy is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Flemmons Magee of Uvalde, TX; two sons, Chip Magee (Shelly) of Eldorado, TX., and Jeff Magee (Kelly) of Batesville; and two grandsons, Dr. Michael Magee (Mary) of Jackson, and Will Magee (Shanda) of Batesville.
