Bill Ivy

Bill Ivy, age 57, passed away September 20, 2020 at the Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, TN.

A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2020 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m.

Bill was born on June 5, 1963 to Nell Eubanks Homeyer and the late William D. Ivy in Greenwood, MS. Bill worked as a heavy equipment operator and honorably served our country in the U.S. Army during Operation Desert Storm. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching Tennessee Football in his down time.

He leaves behind one son, Brandon Ivy (Kari) of Eau Claire, WI; two brothers, Tommy Ivy (Lisa) of Sardis, and Charles Ivy of Atkinson, NC; his mother, Nell Homeyer (Rainey); and two grandchildren, Parker and Preston Ivy.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William D. Ivy and one son, Brett Ivy.
