Wendy Michelle Hentz

Wendy Michelle Hentz, age 39, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in Batesville, MS. 

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Pilgrims rest Baptist Church with the interment to follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Pope, MS. The family will be receiving friends Friday evening, January 26, 2024, at Wells Funeral Home from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M.

Wendy was born January 1, 1985 to Sandra Kay Winters Johnson and the late Robert Earl Downs in Oxford, MS. She was employed with TVEPA in Batesville. Wendy enjoyed shopping and loved to travel. She was an excellent cook and baker. Cake decorating was one of her favorites. Her life was her daughters and her love for them will never end. 

In addition to her father, Wendy was preceded in death by her brother, Preston Johnson. 

Wendy is survived by two daughters, Hannah Taylor and Lynlee Kate Hentz, both of Batesville; sisters, Laticia Wilson of Starkville, Jessica Johnson of Batesville, Kathy Wiley of Batesville; her mother, Sandra Johnson.
