Diane Bryant

Diane Bryant, age 72, passed away Thursday evening, January 18, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS. 

Funeral services for Diane will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Magnolia Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Crofford and Mr. Michael Bates will officiate the service. 

Diane was born October 24, 1945 to the late J.B. Bryant and Kathleen Lovell Bryant in Hillfarrance England. During her lifetime Diane worked for Mize Hardware in Batesville for 25 years. She went on to become a caretaker for the MS Dept. of Mental Health. She was a member of Sardis Lake Baptist Church. 

Those she leaves behind to cherish her precious memory include her loving companion of 28 years, Jim Bowen of Batesville; her sister, Sherry Bryant Burns of Batesville; her brothers, Jerry M. Bryant of Sardis, Perry J. Bryant and Terry Lee Bryant both of Batesville; niece, Angelina Humphreys of Water Valley, four nephews, Chadd Bryant of Nashville, TN., Collins Bryant of Oxford, Dalton Bryant and Brandon Burns both of Batesville; great nieces and nephews, Jada Bryant, Gage Bryant, Boone Bryant, Hayden Kisner, Levi Burns, Lillie Burns, Bella Humphreys, Avery Humphreys, and Alyssa Hunphreys. 


In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by 2 children, Dana Marie Hogg and Walter Hogg, Jr. and one brother, Wayne Bryant.
