Virginia Louise Ridgeway

Virginia Louise Ridgeway, age 77, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at her son's home in Batesville, MS.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 13, 2018, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev Kolby Ganaway will officiate.

Virginia was born May 14, 1941 to the late Ollie Cox and William John Ard in Marks, MS. She was a homemaker during her lifetime.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory include her children, Patricia Ann Ridgeway, and Leon Avery Ridgeway both of Batesville, MS, Barry Wayne Ridgeway, and Jerry Randall Ridgeway both of Courtland, MS; her sisters, Ollie Faye Ard of Jackson, MS, Brenda Coomer of Sardis, MS, and Linda Ard of Pope, MS; one brother, Benjamin Franklin Ard of Sardis, MS; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William John Ard and Ollie Cox; her son, Jason Ridgeway; her sisters, Shelby Jean Pitcock, Shirley Ard Brown, Hazel Winters, and Mary Crocker; her brothers, J.W. Ard, William Earl Ard, and Richard Leroy Ard.
