Virgil Louis Ales

Virgil Ales, age 76, passed away Monday evening, April 24, 2017 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.Funeral services for Mr. Ales will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Central Academy Church of Christ in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends at the Church beginning at 12:30 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Cold Springs Cemetery. Wells Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Virgil was born April 1, 1941 to the late Robert Levi Ales and Annis Clyde Ray Ales in Panola County, MS. He was retired and a member of Central Academy Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Still Ales of Sardis; 2 daughters Melanie Ales Harlow of Duck Hill and Tiffany Ales Edwards of Oxford; 2 sons, Justin Ales of Hernando, and Robert Ales of Sardis; sister Annis Russell of Batesville; brother, Lonnie Ales of Batesville, 13 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
