Dean was born March 29, 1938 in Dyess, AR to Nellie Goodman. He was a retired dock worker and truck driver, who, in his spare time, enjoyed working in his yard.
Dean is survived by his two daughters, Debby Goodman Pilgrim of Olive Branch, MS; Michelle Goodman Gwatney of Florida; two sons, Christopher Goodman of Oakland, TN, Joe Goodman of Senatobia, MS; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
