Troy Tutor, age 64, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 in Batesville, MS.

Funeral services for Troy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. The family will hold a private interment at Crowder Cemetery.

Troy was born on July 21, 1958 to the late Herman Tutor and Maurice McGregory Tutor in Marks, MS. He was a retired truck driver. Troy enjoyed spending his time outside whether he was tending to his chickens or in his garden. He also liked tinkering on trucks and tractors and riding backroads with his friends. Troy was always helping others and putting other’s needs before his own. He will be truly missed by his friends and family.

The family left behind to cherish his memory include his two children, Amber Nichole Westfall (Andrew) of Ocean Springs, MS, and Joshua “Josh” Troy Tutor (Dana) of Batesville, MS; three brothers, Terry Tutor of Water Valley, MS, Randall Tutor of Sardis, MS, and Ronald Tutor of Batesville, MS; two sisters, Wanda Stevens of Tupelo, MS, and Sheila Tutor of Batesville, MS; and four grandchildren, Landon Westfall, Layton Cannon, Jackson Westfall, and Ryan F. Tutor.
