Thomas Lee Sneed

Thomas Lee Sneed, a retired heavy equipment operator known for his dedication to his work passed away at his home on June 26, 2024, in Courtland, MS. Born on April 28, 1947, in Quitman County, Thomas leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and love.

Thomas served his country with honor in the Mississippi National Guard, showing his commitment to protecting and serving others. Throughout his life, he found joy in simple pleasures like watching birds and turkeys appreciating the beauty of nature around him.

In his life, Thomas was a devoted husband to Joyce Marie Sneed and a loving father to Monica Sneed. He is survived by his son Thomas Lee Sneed II, (Jennifer) of Batesville, his brother Jimmy Sneed of Coldwater, and his grandchildren Forest Levi Sneed, Micah Jake Sneed, and Khloe Klaire (BeBe) Sneed.

Thomas will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for nature, and most of all, his deep love for his family. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity.

As we mourn the loss of Thomas Lee Sneed, let us also celebrate the life he lived and the memories he created. May he rest in peace knowing that he was cherished by all who knew him.
