Terry M. Standard, Sr.

Terry M. Standard, Sr. age 78, passed away at his home in Alton, MO. on July 12, 2018. 

Funeral services for Mr. Standard will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 5:00 to 7:00. Interment will follow the service at Bethel Cemetery in Enid. Reverend Derrick Simmons will officiate. 

Terry was born April 29, 1940 to the late Leonard Lamar Standard and Willie Mae Shipp Standard in MS. Terry worked as a store clerk during his lifetime. He was a member of Pope Baptist Church. Terry enjoyed hunting and fishing. His favorite pastime was working with flowers with his late wife Juanita.

In addition to his parents and wife, Terry is preceded in death by 2 siblings, Lemar Standard and Patsy Standard Murphree. Terry is survived by 2 daughters, Michelle Standard Crowell of Alton, MO., Paige Standard Bowles of Charleston; 1 son, Terry M. Standard, Jr. of Drasco, AR; brother, Joe Wayne Standard of Enid, MS; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
