Teresa Cannon

Teresa Lynn Morgan Cannon, age 67, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Teresa was the wife of Rickey Cannon of Batesville.

The family will have a graveside service 11:00 A.M. Thursday morning, March 17, 2022, at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS.

Teresa was born February 13, 1955 in Lambert, MS to the late Bill and Beatrice Creekmore Morgan. She was a longtime waitress at several local restaurants. Teresa loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens when she wasn't working.

Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Rickey D. Cannon of Batesville, MS; daughter, Renee Danielle Cannon of Oxford, MS; son, Richard Dillon Cannon of Oxford, MS; two sisters, Carolyn Yacko of Birmingham, AL, Rita Pinkston of Anchorage, AK; brother, Ricky Morgan of Eugene, OR; two granddaughters, Maya Jaco, Maddy Blake Jaco; grandson, Layton Cannon.

Along with her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by two brothers, Willis and Bill Morgan; sister, Joyce Powderly.
