Stoney Lee Harris

Stoney Lee Harris, age 41, passed away late Saturday evening, June 3, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS.Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery near Paynes, MS.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Nolan Darby will be officiating the services.Stoney was born October 6, 1975 in Greenwood, MS to the late William Henry Harris, Jr. and Linda Goodwin Harris. He suffered from diabetes which kept Stoney from working but it couldn't keep him from enjoying his favorite pastime, fishing. Stoney is survived by a large group of loving family members, which include his mother, Linda Goodwin Harris of Batesville, MS; three sisters, Shirley Biling and husband Larry of Carrollton, MS, Mildred Morman and her husband Mury of Greenwood, MS, Mary Ward and husband Toby of Pensicola, FL; five nieces, five nephews, six grandnieces, six grandnephews, two great-nieces and one great-nephew.In addition to his father, Stoney is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Roy Thomas Goodwin and Kate Elizabeth Goodwin, William H.
