Steve Michael Lindley, of Senatobia, formerly of Grenada passed away at the age of 71 on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the North MS Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Kilmichael, MS with Bro. Ricky Harris officiating.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include, Louis Odom, Max Ray Lindley, Jeffrey Moore, Jr., Randy Cook, Ronnie Lee Smith, and Rosevelt Howard.
Steve was born March 22, 1948 to the late Albert and May Belle Heafner Lindley in Charleston, MS. Steve was a 1966 graduate of West Tallahatchie High School in Webb. He served his country in U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1972. He attended NWMCC in Senatobia, Draughn's Business College in Memphis, and MSU in Starkville. Steve was employed with Heatcraft of Grenada for 24 ½ years. He was an avid Ole Miss and New Orleans Saints Football fan, and he loved to fish. He enjoyed singing karaoke and playing guitar. He was a member of the American Legion.
Those he leaves behind include his wife of 28 years, Sadie Goss Lindley of Senatobia; one sister, Brenda Lindley Lance of Birmingham, AL; first cousins, Oscar Porter of Hernando, Louis Odom of Germanton, TN, Robert Lee of Southaven, Patsy Aven Crowell of Sherwood, AR; one niece Connie Taylor of Birmingham, AL, and one nephew, Max Ray Lindley (Danielle) of DeWitt, AR; and children, Sydney Lindley and Max Ray Lindley, Jr.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Ray Lindley.
