Shirrl David Jeffries

Shirrl David Jeffries, age 80, passed away early Saturday morning, March 19, 2022, at his home in Coldwater, MS.

The family will gather with friends to celebrate the life of Shirrl from 1:00 to 3:00 on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home.

Shirrl was born on December 10, 1941 to the late Burt and Mae Howell Jeffries in Conrad, Missouri. He worked as a truck driver and was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus in Byhalia. Shirrl also proudly served our country as a United States Marine. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and spending time with his family.

The family he leaves behind includes his wife, Peggy Stafford Jeffries of Coldwater, MS; two daughters, Ronda Medlin and Angel Mathis both of Coldwater, MS; 5 grandchildren, Cory Pierce, Timothy Pierce, Amanda Michael, Rachel Mathis, and Cheyenne Mathis; 12 great grandchildren.
