Sherry Ann Roberts

Sherry Ann Roberts, age 56, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at her home near Courtland, MS. 

A graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery near Paynes, MS.

Sherry was born November 14, 1965 in Charleston, MS to the late Ira K. Nelson, Jr. and Linda Milam Nelson. She worked for a number of years at the former Batesville Casket Company in Batesville, MS. Sherry was a member of Sardis Lake Baptist Church who enjoyed being outdoors while swimming, tanning and working in her flower garden. She also enjoyed traveling.

Sherry will be missed most by her son, Hunter Wayne Roberts (Amanda) of Courtland, MS; two brothers, Alec Nelson (Margie) of Charleston, MS, Shawn Cole (JerriLynn) of Charleston, MS; father, Terry Cole (Jamie) of Charleston, MS; her grandchildren, Molly Roberts, and Nashton Wayne Roberts; long time caregiver and friend Glo Dubois of Batesville; her partner for many years, Tommy Gordon of Batesville.

Along with her birth given parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Danny James Roberts.
