Shed M. Clemons, age 81, passed away late Thursday evening, May 25, 2017 at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, MS.Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 29, 2017 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow in Longtown Cemetery near Crenshaw, MS. Visitation will be one prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home.Mr. Clemons was born May 14, 1936 in Calhoun County, MS to the late Lee Buck and Annie Lee Foster Clemons. Shed was a sawmiller by trade and was a member of Center Hill Church of God in Strayhorn, MS. He also honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.Mr. Clemons is survived by his wife, Quida D. Clemons of Crenshaw, MS; two daughters, Tammy Clemons Leon of Crenshaw, MS, Sue Clemons Dunson of Sarah, MS; two sons, Johnny and Ricky Clemons both of Crenshaw, MS; brother, Lee Clemons of Horn Lake, MS; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Mr. Clemons was preceded in death by his son, James Clemons and three sisters and three brothers.
