Sharon Baker Woodruff, age 70, passed away Thursday morning, February 15, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 p.m.
Sharon was born May 9, 1953, in Batesville, MS to the late R.C and Gladys Jewel Sanders Baker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Batesville, MS where she taught the 4-year-old Sunday School for many years. She was a life member of Junior Auxiliary of Batesville where she served a term as President. Sharon dedicated her life to helping her husband on the farm while also raising her family in a godly home. She always enjoyed being outdoors and working in her garden. Sharon loved her two grandsons Graham and Will dearly.
Her faithful and loving memory will be cherished by her husband of 53 years, Bobby Seab Woodruff of Batesville, MS; two daughters, Stacey Woodruff Golmon (Brad) of Oxford, MS, Lacey Woodruff Robertson (Jason) of Batesville, MS; two brothers, Dan Baker of Opelika, AL, David Baker of Eldorado, AR; and two grandsons, Graham Golmon and Will Golmon both of Oxford, MS.
Along with her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Baker.
