Scott Thomas Jervis

Scott Thomas "Tom" Jervis, age 51, passed away at his home near Sardis Lake on May 1, 2020.

Tom was born February 9, 1969 to the late Thomas Jervis and Helen Ann Hanson Jervis in Florida. Tom grew up living by the lake in Georgia. He relocated to the Sardis Lake community to enjoy the beauty of the lake and of course the fishing. As most kindhearted people are, Tom was an animal lover. He enjoyed reading but especially music. Tom was a musician by trade. He played guitar and keyboard by ear. Tom was a friend to anyone he met. He was a true friend to many and supporter of his community. He was very proud of his only daughter, Sarah.

Tom's memory will be cherished by those he leaves behind which include his daughter, Sarah Jervis and her fiance' Brandon Wasserman of Brook Park, OH.; sister, Mindy Gardner of Blue Ridge, GA.; brother, William "Bill" Jervis of Arizona; step-brother, Thomas Mark Jervis of Florida; the mother of his child, Michelle Jervis-Adja of Brook Park, OH; along with his beloved cat and a host of family and friend who were blessed to have known his kind soul.

The family will hold a private memorial service to celebrate the life Tom lived to the fullest.
