Sarah Flemmons Massey

Sarah Louise Flemmons Massey, age 90, passed away Tuesday morning, July 11, 2017 at Providence Assisted Living Home in Batesville, MS.  Funeral services for Ms. Massey will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS., with visitation beginning at 1:00.  Interment will follow the service at Forrest Memorial Park. Rev. Jerry Wages will officiate. Sarah was born July 13, 1926 to the late James Robert Flemmons and Louise Hackman Flemmons in the Mississippi Delta. She was a hard worker during her lifetime, working for Panola Millis for 20 plus years. She was a member of Crowder Baptist Church. Those she leaves behind include her daughter, Ann Massey Davis of Arlington, TN, her son, Bobby Massey of Madison, MS, sister, Mary Elizabeth Roberson of Batesville, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Sarah is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Massey and her son Tommy Massey.
