Russell Lynn "Rusty" Sorrells

Russell Lynn “Rusty” Sorrells, age 65, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford on April 6, 2019.

Rusty was born May 28, 1953 to the late L.B. Sorrells and Dee Samuels Sorrells in Sardis, MS. Rusty was a factory worker during his lifetime and a member of Hebron Baptist Church. He cherished time spent with family and friends.

Rusty is survived by 2 sons, Brad Sorrells (Emeri) of Hernando, and Justin Sorrells of West Point; two siblings, Pat Stokes of Batesville, and Randy Sorrells of Sardis; two grandchildren, Emerson and Brooks Sorrells.

In addition to his parents, Rusty was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Jenkins and one brother, Bob Sorrells.

There will be no services held at this time.
