Roy O'Neal Reasons

Roy O'Neal "Neal" Reasons, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at his home in Batesville, MS. Mr. Neal was the widower of Yvette Reasons. 

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the interment to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home.

Neal was born April 28, 1942, in Bells, TN to the late Roy Leon and Mary Madgeline Bradley. He was a retired meter reader for T.V.E.P.A. and member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. Neal enjoyed working in his garden and cooking on the grill for family and friends. He also spent time hunting and fishing. His greatest love was spending time with his family.

Neal’s memory will be cherished by his three daughters, Amber Winn of Batesville, MS, Brooke Pittman of Batesville, MS, Dana Bailey of Nashville, TN; son, Anthony Reasons of Atoka, TN; two brothers, Douglas Reasons of Bells, TN, Danny Reasons of Brownsville, TN; five granddaughters, Bailee Pittman, Kaitlyn Palmertree, Swayze Winn, Shaylee Dye, Carlie Kinnison; three grandsons, Taylor Palmertree, Levi Palmertree and Ricky DeMann; one great-granddaughter, McKenna Kinnison.

Along with his wife and parents, Neal was preceded in death by his sister, Beauton Ryan.
