Rosa Lee Kahlor, age 82, passed away Monday morning, May 1, 2023, at Diversicare in Batesville, MS. 

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 3, 2023, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time. There will be no graveside service, but her interment will take place at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS.

Rosa was born January 25, 1941, to the late Hezekiah and Ruby Loraine Russell Bryant. She was a homemaker and member of Pope Baptist Church in Pope, MS. Rosa was true definition of a homemaker. She was an excellent seamstress, who made the majority her and her family’s clothes. She also enjoyed working in her flower or vegetable garden and watching birds. Rosa especially loved fishing with her husband Ralph.

Rosa leaves a loving legacy that will be remembered most by her two daughters, Linda Jeanette Kahlor Collins (Ronnie) of Pope, MS, Beverly Marie Kahlor Shinstock (Chris) of Tuscaloosa, AL; three brothers, Stafford Bryant of Gilbertsville, KY, Gary Bryant of Hiawassee, Ga, Timothy Bryant of Slidell, LA; seven grandchildren, Kathryn Ann Cooper, Allison Leigh Collins Trolio, Laura Elizabeth Collins Yelverton, Constance Renee Collins Belew, Kathryn Kahlor Shinstock, Christopher Tyler Shinstock and seven great-grandchildren, Victor Cohen Trolio, John Collins Trolio, Riley Ann Cooper, Eliza Ann Yelverton, Bryant Seagar Yelverton, Sarah Collins Belew and Samuel Whittford Belew.
