Ronald Glenn Smith, age 58, passed away Thursday morning, April 15, 2021 at his home in Enid, MS.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow at Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
Ronald was born on May 6, 1962 to the late Elmer Lee “Bill” and Odean Dees Smith in Tallahatchie County, MS. He worked as a tree logger throughout his life. Ronald had a special love for his grandchildren and his great granddaughter. He also loved his wife and children, his dogs and snacking on candy bars. Ronald was considered a “simple man” and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family he leaves behind includes his wife of 39 years, Becky Smith of Enid, MS; his three children, Jason Smith and wife Tonyia of Crowder, MS, Jessica Smith of Pope, MS, and Tiffany Smith and fiancé Josh of Enid, MS; two sisters, Vickie Cornet and husband Jim of Noblesville, Indiana, and Wanda Bullard of Georgia; his twin brother, Donald Smith and wife Bonnie of Pope, MS; three grandchildren, Mackenzie Smith and fiancé Dawson, Jordan Smith, and Conner Smith; two bonus grandchildren, Logan and Levi Britt; and one great granddaughter, Grayson Dolden.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Harry Smith.
