Roger D. Baldwin, age 71, passed away Wednesday morning, August 24, 2022 at the Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2022 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Roger was born on October 23, 1950 to the late Charles Vernon Baldwin and Mary Jane Yancy Baldwin in Sunflower County, MS. He worked as an engineer in maintenance and production. Roger loved being outdoors whether he was hunting or fishing, but he most enjoyed shooting dice and playing craps with his friends.

The family he leaves behind includes his two children, Amanda Baldwin Massey (Phillip) of Southaven, MS, and Terri Lynn Howard of Como, MS; three sisters, Brenda Baldwin Scribner of Cleveland, MS, Linda Baldwin Hopper of Southaven, MS, and Jeanie Baldwin Wade of Cleveland, MS; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and his best friend and loyal companion, Pepper.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda, his daughter, Tiffiney Moore of Oxford, his sister, Rene Armstrong, and two brothers, Smoky Baldwin and Bo Baldwin.
