Richard Timothy Watson

Richard Timothy Watson, age 47, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford.

Funeral services for Richard will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery in Oakland. Rev. Jimmy Martin will officiate.

Richard was born September 8, 1972 to Richard Glen Watson and Brenda Simmons Watson in Clarksdale, MS. He worked as a freight broker agent during his lifetime. Richard was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. During his spare time, Richard enjoyed fishing and Ole Miss Football. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He particularly enjoyed watching the kids barrel race.

Richard leaves behind his parents, Richard and Brenda Watson of Pope; one brother, Christopher Glen Watson of Pope; nieces, Savannah Watson, and Hannah Watson; nephews, Noah Watson, Lewis Watson, and Elijah Watson.
