Richard Cox Talley

Richard Cox Talley, age 87, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024 at the Panola Medical Center in Batesville, Mississippi. 

Richard was born on June 27, 1937 in Adrian, Missouri and honorably served our country in the U.S. Air Force. For most of his life, his career was in construction. Richard was a devoted contractor for the former Jim Walter Homes. He was also an avid outdoors-man. In the earlier years of his life, Richard enjoyed going hunting, fishing at the lake, and being outside. 

The family left behind to remember Richard and his legacy includes his daughter, Denice Holland of Pope, MS; two grandchildren, Nicole Deaton (Daniel) and Jake Dover; and two great grandchildren, Elijah Deaton and Grace Deaton. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Faye Talley; his mother and father, Opale and Roger Cain; and one son, Richard Brian "Ricky" Talley.
