Richard Eugene Appleton

Video Memorial Tribute Richard Appleton, age 76, passed away, May 11, 2017 at his daughters home in Batesville, MS.  He is the husband of Mary Jane Appleton of Batesville. Services for Mr. Appleton will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. Interment will follow the service at Forrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at Wells Funeral Home. Rev. Henry Wall will officiate the service. Richard was born September 15, 1940 in Sardis, MS to the late James Arnold Appleton and Mary Belle Martin Appleton.  Richard worked as electrician his entire working career, working for Custom Signs for 20 plus of those years. He loved his work and his family. He leaves behind his wife; Mary Jane Appleton of Batesville, 2 daughters; Tammy Appleton Payne of Batesville, and Tiffany Appleton Carmody of Strayhorn, his sister; Patricia Appleton Segars of Batesville, 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
