Allen M. Mullan, 89, of Flora, MS, left this earth and entered into heaven the glorious morning of Friday, June 5. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, JoAnn McMinn Mullan, their infant son, and daughter, Patricia Ann “Pam” Frey; his sister Ellen Mullan Duffy, and second wife Evelyn Baird.
Due to COVID-19, the family has decided to have the memorial service at a later date.
He was born May 11, 1931 to Fannie Mae and Allen M. Mullan, Sr of Baltimore, MD.
He was an accomplished pilot, artist, sailor, and craftsman, whose talents were many but whose life was devoted to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For over sixty-five years Brother Al pastored churches from Maryland to Texas, blessing those who knew him.
His loss will be felt deeply by wife Ruthan Mullan of Flora, MS and her children Barbara, Belinda, Bonnie, and Brian and their families; and his grandchildren: Melissa Ann Frey of Biglerville, PA; Amanda and husband Pastor Jim Wells and Jim and wife Tammy Frey, of Hagerstown, MD; and great-grandchildren: Cooper, Annabelle and husband Army Specialist Austin Shaffer, Abi, Jacob, Nicholas, and Jason, who fondly miss their Papaw.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Salvation Army.
