Raymond Champion

Raymond Owen Champion, age 58, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 at his home near Sardis, MS.

Raymond was born on October 24, 1961 to the late Owen Champion and Betsy May Champion in Columbus, MS. He worked as a welder at SCCO Building Service. He was also a volunteer firefighter.

He will be missed by his daughter, Susie Champion and fiancé Thomas Gray of Sardis, MS; one aunt, Net Johnson; and one grandchild, Isaiah Champion.

The family of Raymond Champion will be a having a memorial service at the Eveningtime Lighthouse Church located at 2168 Nash Rd. in Batesville, MS at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2020.
