Peggy A. Turman

Peggy Ann Clark Turman, age 85, passed away, Friday, July 26, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS. Peggy is the widow of the late Dave Porter Turman, Jr.

Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at the Sardis Church of Christ in Sardis, MS with the family receiving friends beginning at 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. The interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis, MS.

Peggy was born September 3, 1933 in Senatobia, MS to the late Herman and Annie Lucille Lewis Clark. She was homemaker and member of the Sardis Church of Christ. In her spare time, Peggy enjoyed crocheting and working in her yard, especially, with her flowers. Her first priority was caring for and loving her family.

Peggy’s loving memory will be remembered most by her daughter, Jan Turman Herring and husband Steve of Oxford, MS; son, Randy Turman and wife Teresa of Sardis, MS; sister, Janet Clark Emmons of Selmer, TN; four grandchildren, D.J. Turman, Jeremy Turman, Matthew Herring and Madison Herring; three great-grandchildren, Lawson Herring, Cameron Turman and Aiden James Turman.

Other than her husband and parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Clark Turman of Sardis, MS, and her two brothers, Harold Russwurm of Lubbock, TX and Dale Clark of Senatobia, MS
