Pearl F. Thompson, age 93, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at her daughter's home in Bristow, Oklahoma. 

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2021 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Preston Hunter Doubleday, Ryan Channing Doubleday, Larry Tracy Crutcher, Dalton Lee Mabry, Johnaton Lee Manasco, and Daries Edward Bramlett. The two honorary pallbearers are Justin Charlie Mabry, Sr. and Daniel Ross Garrison, Jr.

Pearl was born on August 6, 1927 to the late Jim Flanagan and Mary Manus in Booneville, MS. Before moving out to Oklahoma with her daughter, Pearl lived in Pope and worked at Panola Mills. She was also a caregiver and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

The family she leaves behind include her daughter, Rebecca Thompson Terry; her son, Robert Thompson; 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Thompson; her parents whom raised her, Mary Manus Hester and Wiley Hester; 2 sisters, Tinnie Houston and Marenthe Smith; one brother, Herman Macknally, Sr; one grandson, James "Taz" Doubleday; and one great-great granddaughter, Julianne Mabry.
