Pauline D. Kirby, age 83, passed away at the Sardis Community Nursing Home in Sardis, MS on October 23, 2023.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Sardis Lake Baptist Church with the interment to follow in the church cemetery. The visitation will begin one prior to the funeral service at the church.
Pauline was born on November 28, 1939 to the late Arthur Jack Kirby and Bernice Elizabeth Garger Kirby in Lafayette County, MS. She was a retired factory worker and a faithful member of the Sardis Lake Baptist Church. Pauline found joy in studying the Bible and reading God’s word. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting.
The family she leaves behind includes her sisters, Connie Louise Cortimilia of Michigan, Dorothy Marie Kirby Weaver of Jonesboro, AR, Jennieve Clampett of Arkansas, Annie Sue Russell of Arizona, and Pearl Ailene Easter of Arkansas; and her brothers, Paul Kenneth Kirby of Arkansas, Nick Kirby of Alabama, and Mitch Little of Arkansas.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her two daughters, Sarah Louise Kirby and Elizabeth Marie Kirby; four sisters, Clara Mary McBroom, Zola Kay Kirby, Ola Mae Kirby, and Mellissa Kirby; and two brothers, Arthur Dean Kirby and Charles Eugene Kirby.
