Patsy Morrow

Patsy Johnson Morrow, age 78, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 27, 2019, at Cold Springs United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Cold Springs Cemetery in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 P.M. Friday prior to the service at the church. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include, Marshall Williams, Jake Rideout, Timothy Wilson, II, Denny Sims, Michael Boucher, Brian Sprouse, Harvey Sprouse, and Scotty Sprouse.

Patsy was born to the late James V. “Shorty” Johnson and Corinne Campbell Johnson in Courtland, MS. She was retired from the South Panola school system while working with hearing impaired students. After working for the school, she worked at Panola Mills. Patsy was a member of the Cold Springs United Methodist Church.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her sweet and loving memory include her husband, D.L. Morrow, Jr.; one son, Gary Dale Morrow of Batesville; two sisters, Yvonne Anthony (Jimmy) of Batesville, MS, and Connie Haley (Steve) of Courtland, MS; four grandchildren, Tesa Williams (Marshall), Daley Rideout (Jake), Mandy Vest (Troy), and Timothy Wilson, II (Megan); and 8 great grandchildren.
