Mr. Odis Zenor, age 76, passed away at his home near Como on December 3, 2019.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at Wells Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery near Teasdale. Rev. Terrell McGregor will officiate.
Odis was born February 20, 1943 to the late William Leroy Zenor and Ola Guthrie Zenor in Rena Lara, MS. Odis was a retired truck driver and member of Tocowa Baptist Church. Otis loved the outdoors. He was especially fond of hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching football and softball. Otis was quite the pankster, always telling stories and jokes. He was a good cornhole partner. His favorite food was crablegs. Otis had many skills that he taught and passed on to his family.
In addition to his parents, Otis was preceded in death by; one sister, Ruth Scanlan; and one bother Charles Clark “Peck” Brown.
His surviving family includes his wife, Betty Rogers Zenor of Courtland; his children, Janet McCullar and Jeannie Nichlols both of Courtland, Anita Camp of Pope, Becky Penton of Batesville, Norris Alexander of Batesville, and Johnny Camp of Water Valley; sister, Faye Stuart of Pine Bluff, AR.; and one brother, Eddie Zenor of Como; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great- grandchildren.
