Nate Williamson, age 32, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at his home in Grenada, MS.
The family invites everyone to celebrate Nate's life and gather at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A private family inurnment will be following the gathering.
Nate was born on November 3, 1989 in Memphis, TN, a bubbly blonde haired baby boy, to the late Sandra Lynn Williamson. Nate worked as the head chef at Molly’s Place in Grenada where Nate’s own chicken and sausage gumbo is served. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, riding around in the country, and working on cars. Most of all he cherished the time spent with his family, wrestling and playing with the kids, and of course cooking for them and his wife Laura.
Those he leaves behind who will miss him most include his wife, Laura E. Williamson of Grenada. His children, Clayton Turner and Kynlee Williamson of Grenada. His aunts, Jackie Statham of Batesville, Kalen House (Matt) of Searcy, AR; step-father, John Goodwin of Greenville; cousins, Terri Lindsey (Richard), Alden Graves, Ashley Claire Smith, and Cooper Smith. His mother in law, Dawn Lemley (Randy Dahl) of Grenada, sister in law, Alicia Langham (Ashton) of Grenada. His brothers in law, David Lemley, Kyle Dahl, Devin Lewis, and a niece Baylee Lemley all of Grenada.
In addition to his mother Sandra, Nate was preceded in death by his grandmother, Alice Faye Walker; grandfather, Lloyd Earl Williamson; sister, Ashley Williamson and one cousin, whom he considered to be his brother, Whitten Graves.
