Myra J. Wright

Myra Joan Tutor Wright, age 68, passed away late Wednesday evening, February 12, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS.

Funeral services for Myra will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Tutor, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home. The interment will be held at Forrest Memorial Park following the service.

Myra was born December 31, 1951 in Marks, MS to the late William Jewell and Nellie Tims Tutor. She was of the baptist faith and was also a retired LPN. Myra enjoyed working in her garden and canning her produce she had grown. In her spare time, Myra played games on her tablet, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially, her children and great-grandchildren.

Myra was loved deeply by her family and will be missed by her husband, Norris R. Wright, Sr. of Oxford, MS; three daughters, Kimberly Wright Ferguson, Trina Wright Woodard, Alexis Storme Wright all of Oxford, MS; two sons, Sonny Wright, Landon Thomas Wright both of Oxford, MS; three sisters, Rita Tutor Cook, Diana Tutor Cook, Ginger Tutor Ridgeway all of Courtland, MS; six brothers, Danny Ray Tutor, Ronnie Ray Tutor both of Batesville, MS, Tony Lynn Tutor, John David Tutor, both of Courtland, MS, Douglas Wayne Tutor, Sr. of Courtland, MS, Bobby Dale Tutor of Hernando, MS; four grandchildren, Sloan Boyette, Brianna Simmons, Skyler Doty, Ridge Doty; ten great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Myra was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Woodard and her two sisters, Bonnie Kay Tutor Daugherty and Sherrie Ann Tutor Darby; brother, Billy Leon Tutor.
