Monty Thomas

Monty Mobley Thomas passed away September 4, 2019 at The Boliver Medical Center in Cleveland. He was born August 14, 1956 to the late Mary Ruth Mobley Thomas and Lent E. Thomas, Jr. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held September 6^th at Curtis Union Church Cemetery with Dr. Tommy Snyder officiating.

He graduated from West Panola in 1975. In his younger days he enjoyed riding the rodeo circuit and earned wages as an equine farrier.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lent Thomas, Jr.; sisters Maribeth (Billy) Haire, Carol Thomas of Memphis; brothers Tripp (Beth) Thomas, Jim (Amy) Thomas, and John (Amy) Thomas of Batesville. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Thomas.
