Michael Lynn Brown

Michael Lynn Brown, age 54, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 8, 2020 at the Baptist DeSoto Memorial Hospital in Southaven, MS.

A celebration of life will be 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Evansville Baptist Church in Coldwater, MS.

Michael was born March 19, 1965 to Barbara Ann Rodgers Brown and the late Charles Owen Brown in Kilmichael, MS. He honorably served his country in the US Army. Michael worked as a self-employed carpenter up until his health kept him from working. He was a simple man that loved cracking jokes and being around his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

The family he leaves behind includes his fiancé, Dixie Wiggins of Horn Lake, MS; eight children, Talitha Lambert of Horn Lake, MS, Jessica Davis of Strayhorn, MS, Keegan Brown of Hernando, MS, Moriah Brown of West Memphis, AR, Melyna Jones (Devin) of Monroe, LA, Thaddeous Brown of Horn Lake, MS, Savannah Brown of Strayhorn, MS, and Brianna Brown of Fort Sill- Lawton, Oklahoma; a brother, Kenneth Brown of Southaven, MS; a sister, Rebekah Moore of Hernando, MS; and 12 grandchildren, Scoot, Macon, Waylon, Sawyer, Stella, Hayden, Alyssa, Gracelynn, Braylynn, Sailor, Posie, and baby girl Jones.

Along with his father, Michael is preceded in death by one child, Jubal Brown and one sister, Robbie Tackett.
