Michael Earl "Mike" Barnett, age 61, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 at the Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was the husband of Diana Barnett.

The family will hold a private family funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville. All friends are invited to the committal service at Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw on 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rev. Paul Bryant will officiate.

Mike was born June 16, 1958 to Joseph Earl Barnett, Jr. and Annis Allred Barnett in San Francisco, CA. He was the owner of A & B Fast Auto Glass in Southaven, MS. Mike was a member of Cross Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Olive Branch. In his spare time he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and boating. He was a lover of music. Mike was a singer and guitar player. He adored his grandchildren and the time spent with them. He was also an accomplished hobbyist or collector. 

The loving family he leaves behind includes his wife, Diana Charest Barnett of Olive Branch; children, Jennifer Barnett Obermark of Southaven, Jessica Barnett Glover (Benjamin) of Olive Branch, and Jeremy Barnett (Chandra) of Lake Cormorant, sister; Lori Weatherall (Beecher) of Grenada; brother, Dennis Barnett (Arlena) of Byhalia; parents, Joseph and Annis Barnett; 8 grand children, Garrett, Abigail, Caiden, Elijah, Sylvia, Aria, Nicholas and Jonah. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
