Mary P. Morrow

Mary Elizabeth Poe Morrow, age 88, of Batesville, passed away on June 1, 2018 at NW MS Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, MS.

Funeral services for Ms. Morrow will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Locke Station Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 1:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Forrest Memorial Park. Rev. Rusty Miller will officiate. Wells Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Mary was born May 15, 1930 to the late Charlie Hick Poe and Rebecca Elizabeth Wilmoth Poe in Blue Springs, MS. Mary enjoyed taking care of her family during her lifetime. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Locke Station Baptist Church. She always found pleasure in taking long walks in the beautiful outdoors God provided for her.

The large, loving family she leaves behind include her 4 daughters, June Morrow Alford of Batesville, Pamela Morrow Dickey of Batesville, Donna Morrow Smith of Marks, and Kris Morrow Atkinson of Batesville; 2 sons, Jerry Lee Morrow of Lake Comorant, and Michael Brian Morrow of Batesville; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Lee Morrow; son, George Larry Morrow; 4 sisters, Clara Harpole, Nadine Dunn, Ruth Rodgers, and Bessie Lou Poe, and 1 brother, Ellis Poe.
