Mary Childers

Mary Lynn Wells Childers, 64, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Baptist Memorial in Memphis, TN. Mrs. Mary was born January 13, 1953 in Golden Pond, Kentucky to Martha Lee Hoskins and Blufard L. Wells, Sr. Mrs. Childers had retired after 46 years of various employments and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and pets. She is survived by her husband: Gaylon Childers of Red Banks, MS, daughter; Robin Rene’ Russell of Oxford MS, son; Christopher Dean Hubbard and wife of Laura of Gautier, MS, brothers; Harold P. Wells of AL, half brother; Blufard L. "June Bug" Wells, Jr., of New Albany, MS and four grandchildren; Drake Russell and Daron Louis, Tanner, Mason Hubbard and many more family members, loved ones and friends. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 on Saturday, October 7, 2017 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home as we bring her family, loved ones and friends together. A reception will be held after the service at St. Mary Catholic Church, 120 Hwy 35, Batesville MS.
