Marvin Kenneth Randall, 82, died after a lengthy illness at Sardis Community Nursing Home in Sardis, MS. He was born to John Odessa Randall and Nichol Johnson Mims Randall in the Gravel Hill Community in Carroll County, MS. Mr. Randall was a 1953 graduate of Greenwood High School in Greenwood and immediately enlisted in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict being stationed in Ipswich, Suffolk County, England. He was the Parts Manager for Johnson Implement Company and Westside International. At the time of his retirement he was co-owner of Truck and Trailer Company in Greenwood, MS. Mr. Randall was an avid, year-round crappie fisherman.Mr. Randall is survived by two daughters: Teresa Lee Walker (Gary) of Livermore, CO and Donna Lynn Morgan of Independence, MS. Seven grandchildren: Kellie Carver Cutts (Shannon) of Rosedale, MS; Ryan Keith Carver of Willimantic, CT; Christi Powell Patrick (Roger) and Tyler Rose Morgan, both of Independence; Robyn Lee Morgan (Patrick Spence) and Lyndsay Bransby White (Matt) both of Olive Branch, MS; Zachary Paul Bransby of Hernando, MS. Eleven great-grandchildren: Haylee Rose Patrick, Nathaniel Dayle Cutts, Keira Lee Carver, Roger Allen "Tre" Patrick III, Rex Logan Cutts, Elijah Hamilton White, Autum Willow White, Marissa Adele White, Efraim Keith Carver, Scarlett Rose Spence and John Patrick Spence II. A sister, Barbara Ann Anderson (Ronald) of Bonita Springs, FL and three brothers: John Reecy Randall of Pearl River, LA, Jerry Meek Randall (Brenda) of Philadelphia, MS; Ronald Wayne Randall of Slidell, LA.A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 24th at Wells Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 340 Hwy 35 N, Batesville, MS officiating with Bro. Fletcher Moorman, Chaplin of Legacy Hospice in Batesville, MS. Visitation will begin at 2pm with services to begin at 3pm.
