Dale Burt

Dale Burt, age 61, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at his home near Batesville, MS.Funeral services for Dale will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. Interment will follow at Crowder Cemetery in Crowder, MS. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at Wells. Dale was born on September 20, 1955 to Irene Ray Burt and the late R.V. Burt in Marks, MS. Dale was a truck driver for the Pipeline and a member of the Teamsters Union, Local 346. He was of the Baptist Faith. Dale was a former mechanic. He enjoyed fixing cars and like to putter around. Dale found joy working in the yard and fishing.  Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory include his children, Kay Cleveland of Richland, Renae Robinson of Tillatoba, Kenny Burt of Richland; mother, Irene Ray Burt of Batesville; girlfriend, Connie Conlee of Clinton; brother, Gary Adams of Richland; sisters, Patsy Burner of Madison, Sharlene Ware of Richland, Darlene Calvert of Crowder, and 4 Grandchildren.  In addition to his father, Dale is preceded in death by his wife Sharon Sasser Burt, one sister Sherry Marberry and one granddaughter, Jessica Golden.
