Marilyn Harrelson

Marilyn Harrelson, age 64, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, TN from complications of her extended stay in the hospital.

There will be a memorial service held for Marilyn at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Hosanna Family Worship Center.

Marilyn was born January 12, 1955 in Clarksdale to Bobby Jean Harrelson and T.L. Harrelson. She attended West Panola School. Marilyn was a member of Hosanna Family Worship Center in Pope where is was involved with the Joy Club. She loved her church family. Marilyn retired from being a caregiver due to a heart disability. Marilyn was a free spirit, she loved people, her church, her friends, and loved her family with all her heart. She was the best mother and friend her daughter Bridget could have ever asked for.  

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, her daughter, Bridget King Pitcock (Lee) of Courtland; granddaughter, Brittnay Weeks (Brett) of Iuka; grandson, Billy Alvey (Miranda) of Iuka; step-granddaughter, Erica Pitcock; step grandson, Zack Pitcock; great grandson, Dean Weeks; 3 step- great grandsons, Riley, Lane and Kam Pitcock; one sister, Tabatha Harrelson of Huntsville, two nephews, Buddy Cagel and Nick Cagel; and many cousins who all loved her dearly.
