Margaret Geneva Creel

Margaret Geneva Croney Creel, age 96, passed away, June 9, 2017, at her home in Sardis, MS.There will be no services held. She will be interred with her husband at Memphis National Cemetery in Memphis, TN. Wells Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Margaret was born April 10, 1921 to the late Pete Croney and Magie Mae Jordan Croney in Ardmore, AL. She was a homemaker during her lifetime. Survivors include 3 children, Gloria Harvey of Knoxville, TN., Mimi Stroup of Old Fort, NC, and Eugene Norris "Buddy" Creel of Memphis, TN., and 1 brother, E. Ray Croney of Batesville.  In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Frank James Creel and 1 daughter, Margaret Smith.
