Mrs. Lola Westerfield, age 67, passed away peacefully at her home near Batesville on May 30, 2019. She was the widow of Nathan Westerfield.
Services for Lola will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Goodway Pentecostal Church in Marks. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at Wells Funeral Home. Entombment will follow the service Sunday at Forrest Memorial Park. Rev. Mike Duton and Rev. Aaron Duton will officiate.
Lola was born August 14, 1951 to the late Zachery Simms and Lou Ella Foy Simms in Canton, MS. Lola was the President of Westerfield Sonic Drive-In Inc. with locations in Batesville, Sardis, Bruce, and Satillo. She was the co-owner of Whippersnaps Trampoline Park in Senatobia. She was a member of Goodway Pentecostal Church and The Explorers Bible Study Group.
The loving family she leaves behind include 4 daughters, Elizabeth Parker Roach (Charles) of Batesville, Teresa W. Bryant (Chris) of Bruce, Elizabeth Westerfield Brown of Florence, and Jennifer Westerfield Alexander (Aaron) of Salt Lake City, UT.; 3 sons, Harold Bert Parker (Mercedes) of Kent, WA., Michael Daniel Westerfield (Hailey) of Batesville, and Mark Allen (Jackie) also of Batesville; 2 sisters, Mary Morris of Brandon, Diana Williamson Morrow of Glen Burnie, MA., ; 1 brother, Quinton Sprayberry of Canton; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband Nathan, Lola was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Zacky Simms and Buddy Sprayberry.
