Joyce Sanders

Linda Dorr "Joyce" Sanders, age 83, passed away on September 5, 2019 at Providence Assisted Living in Batesville, MS.

Funeral services for Joyce will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville with visitation beginning at 10:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Forrest Memorial Park. Rev. Bob Self will officiate.

Joyce was born March 23, 1936 in Sardis to the late Luther Audley Dorr and Lillian C. Johns Dorr.  She worked as the office manager for Batesville Clinic before retirement. She was a member of Batesville First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Leon Sanders, and one grandchild.

Survivors include three children, Karen Lynn Respess of Indianola, Steven Howard Sanders of Lake St. Louis, MO., and Barry Clay Sanders of Pope; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
