Linda Jamison Patridge, age 94,widow of Senator Corbet Lee Patridge, died at Panola Medical Center in Batesville, MS on Sunday afternoon, December 30, 2018.
The family will hold a graveside service for Mrs. Patridge at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville. Dr. Paul Middleton will officiate.
Linda was born August 4, 1924 to the late Dr. and Mrs. Alfred Jamison of Marks, MS. She was a homemaker during her lifetime. Mrs. Patridge was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and The Friends of the Library.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Senator Corbet Lee Patridge; one son, Eldridge Lee Patridge; and one daughter, Theresa Lee Patridge.
Those left behind to cherish her precious memory include her son, William Alfred Patridge (Vicky) of Greenwood; her daughter, Patricia Patridge Farrish (John) of Batesville; six grandchildren, Laura Cook (Bruce) Amy Isome (Jeremy), John Farrish (Danielle), Emily Patridge, Suzanne Shaw (Chris) and John Patridge (Tracy). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
